Some of our most popular soups include pumpkin soup, potato and leek soup, and chicken &corn soup. We also make specialty soups upon request.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”How do you make your soups?”][vc_column_text]We make our soups by blending fresh vegetables with a light stock. We use a variety of different vegetables depending on the soup, but typically include onion, garlic, carrot and celery. We then season the soup with herbs and spices to give it its unique flavour profile.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”What are some of the ingredients in your soup recipes?”][vc_column_text]At Garratts Catering, our soup production contractor, we use only the freshest and highest quality ingredients in all of our soups. We start with a clear vegetable broth that is made from a blend of fresh vegetables and herbs.

We then add seasonings and spices to give each soup its own unique flavour. Our soups are also high in fibre and low in fat, making them a healthy and delicious choice for any meal.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Do you ever work with local farmers to get fresh produce for your soups?”][vc_column_text]We certainly do! We work with local farmers to get the freshest produce for our soups. We’ve found that this not only provides the best flavour but also supports our local community.

Garratts soup production line is a great example of how important it is to use high-quality ingredients in our products.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”How does soup production differ from other food production methods?”][vc_column_text]Soup production is a unique process because of the various ingredients that are used and the different cooking techniques that are necessary.

For example, soup production often starts with a roux, which is a mixture of butter and flour that is cooked until it becomes a light brown colour. This mixture is then added to boiling water or broth to create the soup base.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”How do you ensure that the soup is of a consistent quality?”][vc_column_text]Garratts Catering has been producing soups for many years and during this time we have developed a number of processes and systems that ensure the quality of our soups is maintained at all times.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”How do you make sure the soup has a good flavor profile?”][vc_column_text]At Garratts Catering, we take great care to ensure that our soups have a delicious and well-rounded flavour profile. We start by selecting high-quality ingredients and then cook them slowly to bring out their natural flavours. We also add a variety of herbs, spices, and other flavouring agents to further round out the soup’s flavour.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Do you ever make custom soups for customers? If so, what’s the process for that?”][vc_column_text]Garratts Catering soups are made fresh on site daily. The process begins with taking inventory of the fresh produce and other ingredients that will be used in the soups. A soup base is then created, and the produce is chopped and added to the soup base to create the final product.

If a customer orders a custom soup, our team will work with them to create a recipe that meets their specific needs. We always strive to create delicious, healthy soups that our customers will love![/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Can your soup be refrigerated and reheated?”][vc_column_text]Yes, our soup can be refrigerated and reheated. However, we recommend that you consume it within two days of initially preparing it. After that, the quality of the soup will start to decline.

If you do need to reheat your soup, make sure to heat it slowly and evenly to avoid damaging the flavours or textures. Additionally, only reheat as much soup as you plan on eating[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][/vc_tta_accordion][/vc_column][/vc_row]
